My name is April Edwards.
I live in the Arizona desert with my husband Jim and our 4 amazing kids, teens and young adults (ages 8 to 18 years old). We like to pack up the RV and explore the Southwest on weekends. We also play board games as a family, read great books, and try out new hobbies. Creativity and adventure are part of our family culture.
My Writing:
Over the past 5 years, writing has become an outlet for me. I share ideas, what I am learning, and mistakes I have made. It’s an open conversation. 💙
My Current Projects:
Subtle Resistance – practical tips to calm & resilience for your busy life
After over two decades of meeting others’ expectations, I felt exhausted and defeated. Experiencing burnout multiple times, I learned to rebuild my life.
In my book, I share simple tips, emphasizing intentional choices that prioritize what truly matters. (What I needed in my 20’s.) It is a resource for those doing their best and still feeling overwhelmed.
I have already started the draft to my next book!
Intellectually Alive – Embrace Life-Long Learning & A Vibrant Adulthood (working title)
I am looking at the ideas of awesome adulting, travel, being intellectually alive, granny hobbies, reading, and life-long learning.
If you have any book recs I would appreciate your help! I am deep in the research and early writing phase. 😉
